Fearless Fridays – Office Politics

Fearless Fridays, not sure where it originated but found the term on ‘Google trends’ so here I go bandwagon content-ing. What I wanted to find was a catch phrase that summarized my weekly insights and thoughts, since I tend to do that anyway (in my head of course.) Why not share!

I liked the term, fearless friday’s, because something about sharing what’s in my head with the inter-web is scary – I don’t want people to read and think it pertains to them or me or anything specific because often it doesn’t. Aaaand hey, who likes to share anything real anyway? Most of the time it’ll be a cummulation of past, past, past experiences that have all of a sudden become relevant in my current life. Hindsight is 20-20, right?

So here goes, this week’s fearless Friday

Office Politics? Problem Solved: Everyone is useful and everyone’s motivation is to BE useful. Share, compliment and play nice with eachother.

“What motivates us to work? Contrary to conventional wisdom, it isn’t just money. But it’s not exactly joy either. It seems that most of us thrive by making constant progress and feeling a sense of purpose.” What Makes Us Feel Good About Work, TED Talk, Dan Ariely
